Rustoleum Caribbean Blue Spray Paint

Gettin’ All Spray Paint Happy (in Caribbean Blue)

Seriously, is there anything better than a spray paint makeover? It’s one of the fastest, cheapest, easiest, and most fail-proof projects around.

Take for example, this neglected iron patio table which has been kicking around for a few years.  It’s been made-over with spray paint so many times that I can’t even remember what color it was when I bought it! It was red for awhile to match our red front door (before I painted it blue), and it appears that I later started to paint it pewter.  You know, I can’t even remember doing that, lol. I’m not sure if I ran out of spray paint or disliked it, but in any case, it was left half-finished in the elements for a year or so and started to rust.

Enter, stage left, Rustoleum Painter’s Touch Carribean Blue.

Six dollars later – and an hour of spraying and drying – and the rusty table now looks like this.

Oh Caribbean Blue, I do like thee, but don’t get too comfortable.  I’m not loyal when it comes to spray paint.

That’s what I love about spray paint.  It’s non-committal. The problem is, whenever I makeover something with spray paint, I find it hard to stop.  Instant gratification can make you all crazy like that! I’m like, hmmmm, what else around here might look good blue today?   Oh, right, that flag pole over there! Well hello there, spray-painted flag pole…  .

I haven’t gotten spray paint happy since I was a kid. But you make me want to do it now. I love that blue! I could definitly commit to that blue – at least for a few months!

I’m a fellow spray paint enthusiast. And I think being disloyal to colours is a part of the calling those special few receive when they take up their first spray can and think, “I wonder if this random piece of furniture has ever been RED before!”

Love it! You inspired me to paint my little black tables… I might do them lime green .. My chairs are purple. (Outside)

I love the pop of blue and I think that is the best part about spray paint…it can always change and for the price and simplicity…why not??? Looks great! So happy to have found your blog through the Haven link up! 😉 Jesse @ Scout & Nimble
