Sweet Vintage Halloween Ad for Scotch Tape (Ad 14 of 31)
I’ve got the Friday lazies! And, since I’ll be doing my Halloween decorating this weekend (pics next week!), I thought I’d end off the second week of my month-long series on vintage home decor ads with a super cute 1961 Halloween ad for transparent Scotch Tape.
The ad gives lots of ideas on how to use Scotch Tape to make your kids’ Halloween happier – like “taping penny candy in wax paper for treating callers” or “taping paper pumpkins, Fall leaves and scary things on Windows and mirrors!” Those were simpler times, long before the invention of glue dots and adhesive vinyl, lol!
Enjoy! Have a happy weekend, peeps.
Kerri
PS. This is the 14th ad on my “31 Days” Series on vintage home decor advertising! If you’ve missed the others, just click on the “31 Days” button on the sidebar and you can play catch up!
