Hi Mike. We actually carpeted our stairs. There’s a picture of that in a more recent post. There’s a box on my left sidebar called ‘Basement Reno’. If you click it, it will show a pic or two of the finished staircase. If I had my time back, I think I would have added baseboard to give it a more finished look. But c’est la vie! We are still very pleased overall. Good luck!

It looks like you did the same. We are about to have the final finishing done on our steps. Do you have any pictures on your basement staircase after it was finished? I would like to get an idea of how ours will look without baseboards.
