Happy Sunday, my lovelies. It’s been awhile! It’s been a busy Winter.
And speaking of Winter, I’m so over it. Can I get a woot woot? I need Spring flowers around here. Desperately.
The time sprang ahead last night, but that’s about the only sign of Spring. There’s no (real) Spring flowers in sight yet. Right now, there’s still snow on the ground. I’m envious of those of you who live in warmer climates and are starting to see real Spring flowers. That’s a mid June thing here; I kid you not!
To get me through the next few months, I’ll buy bunches of pretty tulips at Costco, and I’ll fill vases around the house with some artificial Spring flowers.
When you live in a colder climate like me, you get really good at finding fake flowers that look real! After all, what’s a Canadian girl to do?
I’m crazy about the soft blush pink in this little bunch.
In the living room, I filled a big glass vase with some over-sized hydrangeas. It’s one of the first things I see when I come home. I can dream about Spring as I shake the snow off my boots!
Decorating with artificial Spring flowers can make a really pretty statement. So don’t miss out on bringing a little Spring inside, even it still looks like Winter out there!
