Do you want some fresh, colourful art for summer? Today I’m sharing free printable art (also called downloadable art) as part of the Seasonal Simplicity blog hop hosted by my friend Krista at The Happy House. In case you’re not sure how free printable art works, it’s really simple. You just download the art file to your device using the instructions I’ll provide below, and then you can use the file to print off an 8×10 print from your home printer, or at your favourite printer. Yay!

In deciding what kind of printable art to create for you, I considered going with a text-heavy art print like a summer quote, similar to the art prints found in my Etsy shop. But, since warm weather is right around the corner, I felt inspired to do something a little more abstract and colourful. If you’ve been following along here for any amount of time, I’m sure you’ve noticed that my ‘go to’ colours are blue and white. You can find this colour scheme throughout out coastal inspired cottage, as well as our home. But, for this printable art project, I decided to branch out!

Of course, this summer abstract printable includes my all-time favourite, navy blue. BuT, I also pulled some other fun hues into the mix too, including blush and a moody turquoise. (I’m loving that colour these days. In fact, I recently painted my powder room a deep shade of turquoise, and I can’t wait to take some photos to share here.). The colours in this free art printable just make me happy, and I think they’d look great in any space.
