Fall Printable - autumn the years last loveliest smile

Fall Printable: Autumn, the year’s last loveliest smile.

I was feeling a little creative tonight, and decided to make a Fall printable to frame for my Fall decorating.  I selected the quote “Autumn, the year’s last loveliest smile” by William Cullen Bryant, because it is just so perfect for my favorite season!  Everything about Fall makes me smile! If you’re looking for a Fall printable for your own Fall decorating, feel free to use it! … Keep on reading —>

Fall Decorating Ideas

Easy Fall Decorating {How Fall Looks Around Here!}

“FALL!” There…I said it.  I usually walk on egg-shells this time of year as any mention of fall decorating can drive Summer fans over the edge. But if you’ve followed my decorating blog for more than a minute, you probably know that I’m cray-cray-crazy for Fall, and I’ve actually shown great self-discipline by staying quiet this long!  I hate to wish Summer away too, but you know what? … Keep on reading —>

We’re All in the Mood for a Melody! {Decorating our *new* Piano/Sitting Room}

La la, dee dee dah, da dum…dum, dum, dum…

Oh. my. gosh.  I’m soooo tired. Over the past two weeks, we switched two main rooms in our home, the living room and the TV room, and it was completely unplanned.  Here’s a little hint why, in case you aren’t already singing Billy Joel along with me…

Haven 2013

What I Learned at Haven: Blogging Tips from Ana White

If you regularly follow home decorating or diy blogs like mine, you’d have to have been living under a rock over the past few weeks not to have heard about the Haven Conference in Atlanta. (I’m actually thinking you might be a little tired of hearing about it by now, lol!) Basically, it’s a conference attended by decor and diy enthusiasts (pointing to self with both fingers!), most of whom also have blogs where they share their projects (again, pointing with both fingers)!… Keep on reading —>

Brigus - beach rocks

House Peeping: My ‘Dreamy’ Summer Cottage

Every year at this time, I like to visit our little summer cottage.  It’s an old two-story home in a quiet town by the ocean. The front door a pretty shade of pale pink, and the window boxes are overflowing with flowers. From the aqua-painted Adirondack chairs, you can hear the waves crash on the nearby beach. The decor is simple and uncluttered, and the worn bookcases are filled with board games and great reads. Keep on reading —>

Rustoleum Caribbean Blue Spray Paint

Gettin’ All Spray Paint Happy (in Caribbean Blue)

Seriously, is there anything better than a spray paint makeover? It’s one of the fastest, cheapest, easiest, and most fail-proof projects around.

.

Take for example, this neglected iron patio table which has been kicking around for a few years.  It’s been made-over with spray paint so many times that I can’t even remember what color it was when I bought it!… Keep on reading —>

Instagram

Wham Bam, Instagram!

I’ve been dragging my heels on Instagram for awhile. I set up an account a long time ago, but never used it. It’s not because I have anything against Instagram, it’s just the opposite. I knew I’d love it. But since I already have a blog, two Facebook pages, a serious Pinterest addiction, and a too-often-ignored-Twitter-account to keep up with, I hesitated about adding yet another social media to the mix.… Keep on reading —>
