Today is one of those days.
There’s laundry piled up, and the floors need to be vacuumed.
I’ve got a million ‘to dos’ piling up in my brain.
The babies are bringing me toys with dead batteries saying , “fix”, and instead of fixing them I am handing them back saying “broken”.
My 7-yo daughter is showing me her new “girl power” handshake, and I’m passively nodding as I run from room to room stuffing laundry into drawers.
I’m on auto-pilot.
So I’m guessing it wasn’t an accident that I just came across this simple reminder about how to love motherhood…
Have a happy puddle-jumping or popsicle-licking kind of day,
