Easter is still a month away, but I needed a little ray of sunshine given all the sadness of the past week.
Since creative energy is the BEST mood booster ever, I pulled out my Easter and spring stash. I managed to get my mantel completed, as well as a few other little spring touches. Later in the week, I’ll move on to my front door and entryway.
I normally do a bright and whimsy Easter mantel (think coloured eggs, gerber daisies, and a Happy Easter garland), but I decided to go a different route this year. It’s a little more muted and understated than usual. But I am liking how it turned out. I really like how the ‘vintage’ bunnies look with the boxwood wreath and potted grass.
So what do you think? Would love your thoughts!

I love your mantel…saw it at Beth's and immediately clicked. So Pretty and Fresh…thanks for sharing with all of us.
Thanks Kerri!! We have a Marshalls 🙂
Hi Susan! I've had those eggs for a few years now; but I think I originally found them at Winners (in Canada). You might want to try Marshall's in the US, as I think both stores are owned by the same company; they always have similar stock. It's worth a try! Thanks for stopping by. Kerri
I got here from Beth on A2Z. Very nice decor!! Would you mind sharing where you got the eggs on your mantel?? Love those!

Lovely mantel! It looks straight out of a magazine!
Great mantle decor! I love how the robin's egg blue provides the perfect 'pop' of color to a perfectly understanded color scheme.
It looks so pretty, love the muted colors and the grass and boxwood wreath.
Everything looks gorgeous!! Love it all.
I came over from TAJ.

I love it, Kerri! It's just the right amount of Easter and still says Spring. I love your bunnies and how you used all the eggs. I especially love your chalkboard sign announcing the Easter Egg hunt.

Very nicely done. I just found your blog recently. I think from a link on someone elses blog. I plan to explore as time allows.
Wow! It's gorgeous! I love it all! Decorating for Easter can tend to get too cutesy anc cluttered (at my house anyways!) But you have created a really classy, yet whimsical and charming vignette! It's beautiful!
